Here's a video which I've made mainly to learn a new editing program hence some slightly odd bits in it but thought you'd like the subject matter.



 

Swimming

Swimming was a great way throughout the holiday to get cool and just enjoy some playing time. Rainbow Bear and Twiga the giraffe had a great time in their dry suits as well. Beth and Rebekah really got the hang of snorkelling at the pool at Isamilo School.

First day in Tanzania

This is the start of our trip to Tanzania. John P gave us a lift to the airport where we enjoyed a game of Dutch Blitz on the floor, much to the amusement of many fellow travellers, then we had a meal at wagamamas. The long overnight flight got us as far as Dar es Salaam. When we arrived at Dar airport there was a large queue to get visas. Someone came and took the paperwork plus $50US each. Once the visa was ready our names were called and they took our fingerprints! At customs we were asked who we supported??? Apparently the important thing was whether we supported Liverpool or Manchester United. Fortunately we said neither I'm not sure if we had supported the 'wrong' one we may have had our bags searched more thoroughly. We then found ourselves outside, no arrivals lounge here. The wait felt like it went on for ages and as the weather was rather sticky it was good to get to the plane in the end. Beth and Isaac picked us up at the airport and helped us get our bags. We then had a very relaxing day and followed by an evening at homegroup. It's beautiful, hot, friendly. Wonderful to spend time with Paul, Beth and the children.
